Join us at Terra Madre Salone del Gusto 2024!
Together with the City of Turin and the Piedmont Region, SchoolFood4Change project partner, Slow Food Italia, is co-hosting the “Terra Madre Salone del Gusto” in September 2024 in Turin, Italy. 

This year’s theme, “We are nature“, invites participants to reconnect with the natural world and rediscover our essential bond with it through food. 

Slow Food’s flagship event brings together farmers, chefs, activists, and policymakers dedicated to sustainable food systems and agroecology. The event will feature insightful discussions, hands-on workshops, and tastings of artisanal products. Participants will explore innovative solutions for food sustainability, aligning with SchoolFood4Change‘s mission to transform food systems in schools and communities across Europe. 

As part of this event, on September 27, the SchoolFood4Change partner ‘University of Gastronomic Sciences’ will host an exclusive session titled “School Canteen Revolution“. This session comes at the end of a two-day training course that the University is organising with school cooks as part of the SchoolFood4Change project. In the first part of the session, the results of the training are discussed and can even be tasted! The second part deals with the role of chefs in the change processes of the food system. Invitations to the session will be sent out soon.
