SchoolFood4Change EU Award at BIOFACH Forum, Nuremberg, Germany
SchoolFood4Change is taking part in the BIOFACH forum from February 11-14, 2025. This event, known as the World Leading Trade Fair for Organic Food, brought together the international organic community. Concurrently, the BIOFACH Congress 2025 was held under the motto “Yes, we do! – How to effect change in the organic food segment.” This congress serves as a central platform for dialogue and knowledge exchange on innovative solutions and the shift towards more organic practices.
On February 12th, SchoolFood4Change will host a session organized by ICLEI Europe, in collaboration with WWF Sweden, IFOAM Organics Europe, and the city of Nuremberg. We will explore the policy framework for school meals in Europe and celebrate 10 success stories from schools and cities across the EU during the “SchoolFood4Change EU Awards Ceremony”. As the project progresses, the SchoolFood4Change EU Award has been established to honor outstanding contributions from participating cities. The finalists, whose innovative efforts have set new standards in sustainable school food practices, will be unveiled on February 12th at BIOFACH.
