SchoolFood4Change at the Urban Food Policy Pact Global Forum in Milan

Every two years, mayors and representatives from the more than 300 member cities of the Milan Urban Food Policy Pact gather for the Global Forum — a unique space to exchange knowledge and best practices on urban food policies, take part in technical workshops, network, and forge strategic partnerships.

In 2025, the Milan Urban Food Policy Pact marks its 10th anniversary and, to celebrate this milestone, will host a special edition of the Global Forum in Milan — the city where it all began during EXPO 2015. On this occasion, SchoolFood4Change will actively participate, contributing its expertise and innovative approaches to healthy, sustainable, and inclusive school food systems, and engaging with global partners to inspire transformative change in urban food policies.

The MUFPP Global Forum official agenda will span over three thematic days:

• 14 Oct – Ten Years of Collective Learning

• 15 Oct – Today: an Exchange Platform for Cities

• 16 Oct – Future Opportunities: Alliances and Commitments, on the occasion of World Food Day

In addition, field visits, training sessions, masterclasses, and other optional activities will take place on 13 and 17 October. MUFPP partners are invited to submit proposals for parallel sessions or side events aligned with the Forum’s objectives.
